Need to add some interest to your matwork routine? This innovative and upbeat mat-based workshop features exercises that increase in intensity and challenge. Beginning with those from the Level 1 workout, you'll learn how to incorporate the Flex-Band®, Fitness Circle and toning balls to develop classes that will challenge and stimulate you and your clients. In addition, you will learn how to apply the STOTT PILATES principles of stabilization to all exercises, cues and corrections as well as mat work modifications. Melissa Harrington is a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer and national fitness conference presenter. Melissa has been working in the fitness industry for the past 17 years and in addition to teaching Pilates, she is a certified Yoga instructor and faculty member of YOGAspirit, a certified Holistic Health Counselor, certified Personal Trainer (NSCA), and Group Exercise Instructor (ACE.)  Melissa lives on the north shore of Boston with her husband, and two stepchildren. Melissa brings a healthy dose of humor and heart to her teaching and everywhere she travels.
