Welcome to IDEA’s first “mini-Inner IDEA” preconference 1-day experience, intended to give you a taste of the full Inner IDEA event—a mindful multidimensional exploration of wellness. After an experiential opening address on the art of living in the present moment, you will be able to participate in three body-mind education tracks—Gyrotonic® exercises, yoga and Pilates—offered in three separate time periods (you can stay with one track for all three or jump back and forth). The day will culminate with an inspiring tai chi experience. Note: This preconference session is designed to create an immersion experience of body-mind modalities, in a distinctly different environment than the rest of the IDEA World Fitness Convention. The session begins with a fundamental overview of the STOTT PILATES Five Basic Principles. Participants will learn countless essential- through advanced-level exercise combinations using the multiple V2 Max Plus components, work on matwork and Cadillac exercises using the mat converter, then move on to reformer and vertical frame-based repertoire ideas.
