Make history as you hit the deck of the world famous, and longest commissioned, USS Midway. Now a permanent fixture of the beautiful San Diego waterfront, “Midway Magic,” as it has been dubbed, is considered one of the toughest aircraft carriers ever built. You’ll race from the Marriott Hotel, along the glistening waterside, through the Embarcadero and up the steps to the ship deck. Lasting from 1945 until its final mission in Desert Storm, the USS Midway will provide an aweinspiring and unforgettable backdrop for a heartpounding boot camp experience unlike any other. Note: Not for yellow-bellied, lily-livered landlubbers.

Start at the TOP of Mt. Soledad with stunning 360° views of San Diego and then zip down the thrilling 3.5-mile descent. Tour some of San Diego’s most prestigious and quaint neighborhoods, including La Jolla, Pacific Beach and Mission Beach. On the return, you’ll stop to take in the fun at La Jolla’s own seal rookery at the Children’s Pool. Note: Cost includes transportation, bike and all safety gear. Please wear hard-sole shoes (pedals are cages). Bus departs San Diego Marriott at 6:15am and returns at approximately 9:15am. Minimum class size: 10 people.

Be prepared to hit the sand and surf as you turn scenic La Jolla Shores and Kellogg Park into your own boot camp. This fast-paced challenge, led by certified personal trainer Ryan Halvorson, will have you yelling “HOOAH” as you test your strength, agility, coordination and endurance, both in and out of the water. Bring a towel, sunscreen and appropriate attire as you will get wet. No swimming is required.
