If you work with women in any stage of life, and wish to understand all the biomechanical components from dysfunction to function, you need to learn about the female chain reaction. We will explore the pelvic core neuromuscular (PCN) system, functional mobility techniques for the pelvic girdle/floor muscles and exercise integration utilizing a variety of functional tools. Participants will see how pregnancy influences the PCN system and how incontinence may limit one's ability to exercise. Limited to 24 participants. Additional fee required. See page 12 for more information. CEC: ACE 0.4

Christina Christie, PT, holds a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. She is a childbirth educator and specializes in the evaluation and treatment of women health patients in the areas of pregnancy, incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Rich Colosi, PT, DPT, has a bachelor of science degree with a double major in IO/OD psychology and sociology with a concentration in criminology, and a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Rich also helped to develop the CEC course The Female Chain Reaction for the Gray Institute, and he incorporates applied functional science principle to provide comprehensive care to his patients in Park Ridge, Illinois.
