Eric Beard, MS, is a senior master instructor for the National Academy of Sports Medicine for which he delivers evidenced-based presentations on the Optimum Performance Training Model. In addition, he oversees a staff of personal trainers at a health club in the Boston area where he also works with clients and athletes. Eric is a licensed and practicing massage therapist and frequently uses manual therapy techniques with his clients. Certifications: NASM and NSCA

Fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, chronic fatigue and arthritis are all diagnoses where the client experiences relentless bouts of pain and disability. We will discuss contributing factors of each condition and how we can develop safe and effective fitness programs for these clients.
