Juan Carlos Santana, MEd, is the director and chief executive officer of the Institute of Human Performance in Boca Raton, Florida. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in exercise science from Florida Atlantic University, and is currently pursuing his doctorate. Carlos has authored more than 50 books and DVDs, covering a range of topics involving optimum physical performance.
