Faithful to our principles of both functional alignment and core stability, we incorporate breathing techniques, yoga, tai chi, Pilates-inspired movement, and Feldenkrais® techniques. Experience yogic sun salutation as it is adapted for the stability ball! We will examine and apply mind-body principles so you have the tools to take your stability ball class into the next dimension of mind-body fitness! BYOM

SHAKTI is the Sanskrit word for the energy released throughout the body when one practices particular hatha yogic asanas. This is an aquatic, non-purist mind-body approach at its best. We will fuse fitness applications of standing and suspended yoga vinyasas, tai chi, Feldenkrais®, Gyrotonic® exercises and Pilates with non-traditional mind-body music. This water workshop is not to be missed!

Get ready to sweat in this all-ball drill class led by Resist-A-Ball’s top master trainers. Learn fun and functional exercises to toughen up your participants with a total-body approach that delivers the ABCs of performance: agility, balance, coordination, speed and power!

Welcome to IDEA’s first “mini-Inner IDEA” preconference 1-day experience, intended to give you a taste of the full Inner IDEA event—a mindful multidimensional exploration of wellness. After an experiential opening address on the art of living in the present moment, you will be able to participate in three body-mind education tracks—Gyrotonic® exercises, yoga and Pilates—offered in three separate time periods (you can stay with one track for all three or jump back and forth). The day will culminate with an inspiring tai chi experience. Note: This preconference session is designed to create an immersion experience of body-mind modalities, in a distinctly different environment than the rest of the IDEA World Fitness Convention. (Participation is limited to 150 people.)
