GPS Adventure Racing is a non-stop sport of navigation, strategy, teamwork and endurance. Experience this exciting outdoor activity in a “compacted” format. Twenty-first century navigation, brainteasers and teamwork are combined in this innovative new outdoor game using the global positioning system (GPS). GPS receivers are provided; no advanced skill is required. Come prepared for fun. Limited to 30 people. This session is repeated as #223.

Everything old is new again in this synthesis of elements from Ashtanga, Iyengar and Hatha flow yoga. From a foundation of multiple sun salutations, you will add on layers of variation and challenge to enhance and reinforce the process of learning complex postures. Salutations, standing poses and an intense series of hip openers will lead you into an intense yoga core segment and ultimately to an equally intense relaxation drill.

Low-back pain is a common complaint. In this workshop, you will focus on the entire back, and experience a targeted yoga practice designed to strengthen the muscles surrounding the spine, while creating length and suppleness and reducing stress. Learn specific modifications of traditional postures that will improve their effectiveness relative to the spine, as well as enhance relaxation and decompression in this vital area.
