This lecture/demo will explore the anatomy and biomechanics involved in the normal healthy functioning of the knee, including the available movements and typical movement patterns. Some of the interruptions that can occur and common abnormal or dysfunctional movement patterns will then be addressed. Finally, exercise progressions to rebuild normal muscle action and movement patterning, challenge and promote optimal function, prepare for specific activities and enhance performance will be outlined.
